As a pre-teen, my favorite pastime was touring new construction homes and visiting antique shops. Even at a young age, I was able to visualize a finished project with just a single introduction to a space. 

After graduating from ECU (Go Pirates!!), I dove into a career that allowed me to put my creative eye to work.  With over 16 years experience, my  connections in the design  and construction industry are truly my secret weapon.  

Although I loved my job, I knew that building a family was an important part of my future. While struggling with infertility for 5 years, it became clear that I needed to create flexibility within my life to be a present mom and in order to have a balanced family life.  With that, I developed a business plan and MBA Interior Designs was born. 

The adoption of my son triggered a passion within. I'm an advocate for fostering and adoption. I love speaking with couples and helping them through the adoption process. I also bring groups together to raise awareness of the need to fostering children in my community.  I was recently elected to the Board of Trustees for Children's Home society of North Carolina.

As a 4th generation Fayetteville native, I'm  committed to giving back to my community.  I thoroughly enjoy my roles in The Fayetteville Garden Club and Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation Gala Committee. I love being active and volunteering at my son's school.
